Bronze 56K Dub Pants
Arriving as part of the HO20 collection from Bronze 56K, these navy Dub Pants are made from durable cotton, nylon ripstop and feature utilitarian inspired details such as large side pockets on the front for a practical finish. Designed with skateboarding in mind, these pants have a hard wearing finish with an elasticated waist and a clip buckle fastening followed by a centralised fly zipper below. On either side of the front generously sized pockets are available for storing essential items and on the right side a monochrome woven label presents the Windows 98 inspired Bronze 56K logo. On the reverse the same logo can be seen again within a rectangular label alongside ‘Hard Wear’ lettering and underneath a shaped patch pocket with a flap closure has also been added. Allowing you to adjust the fit to suit, the cuffs have internal pullcords so you can tuck the fabric out of the way when on the move.
Based in New York City, Bronze 56K is an independent skate brand headed up by Pat Murray and Peter Sidlauskaus who are both known for their film contributions to the skate world. Often referencing the early days of the internet and ‘90s culture within each of their collections, each season is full of custom artwork and detailing which demonstrates the labels vision within the industry and approach to design. For the HO20 release references to cows, dogs, bolt boys, snooker and jeeps take centre stage alongside practical winter-ready outerwear and trousers equipped with practical details.
